At Vision Cycle, we're committed to a cleaner, more sustainable future by mining value from waste and reducing the carbon footprint of traditional recycling methods. We are using tech to target today’s large climate problems, focusing on tailings ponds, metal scrap, and EPA cleanup.

Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Marketing and Sales Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our local material sourcing efforts. This full-time position will be instrumental in increasing our presence in the community, establishing recycling programs, and fostering partnerships with local and global scrap metal industry companies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase visibility and attract local material suppliers.
• Utilize platforms such as Yelp and Google to enhance our online presence and reach potential suppliers.
• Conduct outreach efforts to establish recycling programs with businesses and organizations.
• Engage in telemarketing and sales development rep (SDR) work to identify and qualify leads.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with potential suppliers to discuss partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and materials to support sales efforts.
• Travel to and close deals with potential local partners.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably in a B2B or recycling industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
• Experience with online marketing platforms such as Yelp, Google My Business, and social media.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct successful outreach and lead generation activities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a passion for sustainability and environmental conservation.
• Willingness to engage in telemarketing and SDR work to achieve sales objectives.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Office Location: 12 Channel St. Boston, MA. Incubated in Massrobotics (a robotics startup accelerator with 30 robotics companies)

Team size: 6. Over the summer it will size to 7-9.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,627.00 - $69,284.00 per year
